Fernery offers creative tasting menus that celebrates Welsh produce with bold flavour and thoughtful storytelling.

For something more relaxed, the Artisan Rooms Brasserie serves seasonal dishes, set lunches, Sunday roasts and afternoon teas in a warm, welcoming space — with garden terrace dining available in the summer.

Tucked inside the Grove of Narberth, Fernery is a place where flavour, feeling and place come together. Led by Executive Chef Douglas Balish and a quietly masterful team, we take pride in the stories we tell, through food, wine and warm Welsh hospitality.

Our menus move with the seasons and celebrate the best of Welsh produce, brought to life with bold cooking, thoughtful pairings and a touch of joyful creativity.

Inspired by traditional Welsh crafts and textiles you’ll enjoy a charming dining experience, with delicious seasonal food, prepared with care. In the summer months, dine outside on our beautiful garden terrace.

Enjoy our extraordinary afternoon tea, with delicious homemade sandwiches, cakes and pastries, all of which change with the seasons. Choose from a wide selection of the highest quality loose Jing teas to accompany your sweet and savoury feast, or add a little sprinkle of fizz, with gin or champagne. You can also enjoy a picnic in our gardens, or head out to explore the countryside, with one of our ‘great outdoors’ hampers.

Our Ingredients

Our menu is inspired by our kitchen gardens and the local suppliers who offer the highest quality of fresh, seasonal ingredients. We grow a huge variety of vegetables, herbs and summer fruits right here in our kitchen gardens, just a stone’s throw from the kitchens.

As all our food is prepared freshly in the hotel, we can cater for most dietary requirements with notice. Please advise us of any dietary requirements and allergies when making your booking.
