Afternoon tea at Grove is a slow, thoughtful experience shaped by the seasons and the surrounding countryside. Served in the relaxed comfort of the house, it is an invitation to pause, settle in, and enjoy a gentle moment of indulgence.
Our chefs prepare everything in house, from delicate finger sandwiches to freshly baked scones, pastries, and cakes inspired by the time of year. The menu evolves with the seasons, reflecting the ingredients available and the creativity of the kitchen.
Alongside the food, choose from a collection of loose-leaf teas from Jing, carefully selected to complement both sweet and savoury flavours. For something a little more celebratory, afternoon tea can be paired with a glass of champagne or a seasonal gin serve.
Whether you are joining us for a special occasion, meeting friends, or simply taking an afternoon for yourself, afternoon tea at Grove is designed to be enjoyed slowly.
Afternoon tea is served in the main house, where large windows look out onto the gardens and surrounding countryside. On warmer days, you may prefer to take your tea outside and enjoy the grounds at your own pace.

For those wanting to explore a little further, our Great Outdoors hampers offer an alternative way to enjoy the experience. Prepared by our kitchen, these hampers can be taken into the gardens or out into the Pembrokeshire countryside for a relaxed picnic.
Kitchen Gardens
Our menu is inspired by our kitchen gardens and the local suppliers who offer the highest quality of fresh, seasonal ingredients. We grow a huge variety of vegetables, herbs and summer fruits right here in our kitchen gardens, just a stone’s throw from the kitchens.
As all our food is prepared freshly in the hotel, we can cater for most dietary requirements with notice. Please advise us of any dietary requirements and allergies when making your booking.

Alongside the sweet selection, you’ll find a line-up of savoury delights and seasonal sandwiches, all served with your choice of loose-leaf tea or freshly brewed coffee. It’s the perfect way to spend a winter afternoon with loved ones, wrapped in the warmth and charm of Grove at Christmas.
