These past three weeks have seen our wine team receive congratulations from The Drinks Business, Wine Spectator and The Court Of Master Sommeliers.
Our Head Sommelier for Grove and Fernery, Alexios Stasinopoulos, has dedicated this last year to perfecting our wine list for our customers. His hard work and dedication has well and truly paid off.
Firstly, Alexios received his Advanced Sommelier Certificate through The Court Of Master Sommeliers.
Next, we received news that Grove of Narberth has the honour of being included in the inaugural UK and Ireland edition of Wine List Confidential.
Then more recently, we were delighted to learn that our beautiful restaurant, the Fernery, has received the Award of Excellence, by Wine Spectator. The Wine Spectator recognises wine lists that feature a well-chosen assortment of quality producers, along with a thematic match to the menu in both price and style. Whether compact or extensive, focused or diverse, these lists deliver sufficient choice to satisfy discerning wine.
