We’re delighted to be celebrating a special achievement for one of our own, following the Visit Pembrokeshire Croeso Awards, where Ffion Howells was named Rising Star.
The Croeso Awards celebrate the very best of Pembrokeshire’s tourism and hospitality industry, recognising the people and businesses making a difference through quality, innovation and exceptional customer service.
During her time as Senior Chef de Partie at Grove, Ffion brought care, skill and enthusiasm to everything she did. Working across both the Artisan Rooms and Fernery restaurants, she became an invaluable part of our kitchen team, consistently going above and beyond for her colleagues and the guests we welcome.
Since her nomination, Ffion has moved from Grove to our sister restaurant, Lan y Môr in Saundersfoot, where she continues to bring her experience, talent and enthusiasm to the kitchen.
Her Rising Star award is a wonderful recognition of her hard work and the contribution she has made to Pembrokeshire’s hospitality scene. We couldn’t be prouder to see her achievements celebrated.
We were also delighted to see Grove of Narberth shortlisted for Hotel of the Year. While the award wasn’t ours to take home this time, being recognised alongside some of the county’s leading hospitality businesses is something we’re incredibly proud of. It reflects the collective dedication of our team and the care and attention they bring to every stay, meal and guest experience.
Both achievements are a lovely reminder that, at the heart of great hospitality, are the people who make it happen.
Congratulations once again to Ffion, and a heartfelt thank you to our wonderful team.
