Jamie Roberts, renowned Welsh former professional rugby union player, has had a significant impact on the sport. His career spanned various teams, including Cardiff RFC, Cardiff Blues, Racing Métro, and Bath. Jamie earned 94 caps for Wales between 2008 and 2017 and participated in the British & Irish Lions tours to South Africa in 2009 and Australia in 2013. His contributions at both the national and club levels have been commendable.
After an impressive rugby career, Jamie has embarked on academic pursuits, holding a degree in medicine and currently pursuing a Masters in Business Administration at Loughborough University and a Masters in Philosophy at Cambridge. His transition from the rugby field to academic halls is as inspiring as his sports career.
The event will kick off with a Champagne reception hosted by Jamie himself. This will be followed by a specially curated 4-course tasting menu by Executive Chef Douglas Balish, designed to make the evening more memorable. Post-dinner, there will be a Q&A session with Jamie, offering a rare opportunity to delve into the experiences of this Welsh rugby legend. It’s a chance to hear firsthand about his journey, challenges, and triumphs both on and off the field.
