We’re delighted to welcome two new members to our Grove family, our new Head Gardener Gregory Leeson, and his furry side-kick Broc. Green-fingered Greg joined the team in April, and in true Grove style, is the latest team member to take our dog-friendly approach literally.

Greg has a huge passion for the outdoors, and as a keen traveler, experiencing diverse vegetation and climates only sought to grow his desire to work outside.

He holds rich experience having trained at The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew where his ‘Best Student Garden Design’ prize meant he was involved with the gold winner at the Chelsea Flower Show, he also won gold at The Hampton Court Flower Show. Greg has worked on numerous historic gardens including The Broadview Gardens, Capel Manor and the Crystal Palace Parks Committee, and more recently he was the Horticultural Manager for Historic Royal Palaces, at Hampton Court Palace and The Tower of London.

Meanwhile, Broc likes to do explore the woods, helps with digging, and can often be found snacking and napping on the job.

With Grove’s 26 acres of manicured grounds, including the kitchen garden and woodland, Greg and his team undoubtedly have a big job on their hands. We’re so excited for this new phase and to see how he and the team continue to evolve our beautiful grounds.

Please join us in welcoming Greg to our lovely corner of Pembrokeshire, and do say hello if you see him working around the gardens.
