After months of construction, we were very proud to open the doors to our new housekeeping headquarters at the end of October.

Investing in a new and dedicated housekeeping building has been a real priority for us, as our housekeeping team has previously only had a small area to store their items within the hotel, behind our kitchen.

Our team always strives to deliver excellence in service, and this applies not only to front of house but behind the scenes too, as that’s where so much of the magic happens. The housekeeping team’s wonderful new building is located at the rear of Grove and has more than doubled the amount of space the team has to house all their supplies and equipment, while giving them a really productive working area too. It’s a significant step forward for the team, and it’s already helping them improve their way of working.

In addition to this, the team also now has their very own “housekeeping wheels”! Their new golf buggy will help them to service the top and middle cottages as well as the main house and keep everything they need in tow.

Head Housekeeper Kim and her lovely team are thrilled with their new space, and of course their new motor. If you see them, give them a wave!
