Hotel Bookings
Deposits
We charge a 50% deposit. Rooms and stays booked as part of a special promotional offer should be paid in full upon booking and are non-refundable, but they can be transferred to an alternative date, subject to availability.
Standard Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change, and our cancellation policy is designed to offer flexibility wherever possible.
• Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to arrival will receive a full refund of the deposit paid.
• Cancellations made between 14 days and 72 hours before arrival will receive a credit for the full booking amount, which can be used towards a future stay at Grove, subject to availability.
• Cancellations made within 72 hours of arrival, or in the case of a no-show, will be charged in full.
For bookings of two rooms or more, stays of three nights or more, special events, public holidays or discounted offers, these terms will apply unless otherwise stated at the time of booking
100% Pre-Payment / Non-Refundable Bookings
Selected rates, promotional offers and special packages require full payment at the time of booking. These bookings are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable. In the event of cancellation, amendment or non-arrival, the full payment will be retained.
Where stated at the time of booking, date changes may be considered at the hotel’s discretion and subject to availability, but this cannot be guaranteed.
Christmas Getaway Break – Deposit & Cancellation Policy
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your Christmas Getaway stay.
• Cancellations made more than eight weeks prior to arrival will receive a full refund of the deposit paid.
• Cancellations made within eight weeks of arrival will result in the 50% deposit being retained in full.
As Christmas Getaway stays are a special festive package, final balances are due upon checkout.
New Year’s Eve Celebration Stay – Deposit & Cancellation Policy
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your New Year’s Eve Celebration stay.
• Cancellations made more than eight weeks prior to arrival will receive a full refund of the deposit paid.
• Cancellations made within eight weeks of arrival will result in the 50% deposit being retained in full.
Due to the nature of this celebratory package and limited availability, final balances are payable upon checkout.
Pets
We reserve the right to charge for any damage to the property for repair or replacement, and/or for any deep cleaning required, caused by your pet during your stay.
Restaurant Bookings
Fernery Restaurant Deposit and Cancellation Policy
A deposit of £50 per person is required when making your reservation, which will then be credited to your final bill.
Deposits are fully refundable if a cancellation is made at least 72 hours’ prior to your booking. Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations or significant amendments with less than 72 hours’ notice, and for no shows.
Artisan Rooms Restaurant and Afternoon Tea Deposit and Cancellation Policy
There is no fee for cancellation with 72 hours’ notice.
A cancellation fee of £20 per person will be charged for no shows, late cancellations or significant amendments with less than 72 hours’ notice.
