As part of our Grove recommends, we love to share with you just some of our favourite things to do and places to visit. During these colder months, whether you’re crunching through the piles of amber autumnal leaves to cwtching up next to the fires on cold winter days, there’s plenty to do here in Pembrokeshire.
– Colby woodland gardens – perfect for an autumnal walk through the woods and down to the sea in Amroth
– Picton Castle – a medieval castle near Haverford west has beautiful walled garden and grounds to explore
– Brazing walk from Abereiddy to Porthgain with lunch at the Shed or the Sloop Inn
– A visit to St. Davids town and Cathedral, with a walk on Whitesands bay
– Newport – Beautiful little town to visit for lunch and a walk along the coast on the parrog beach
– Strumble Head loop for seal spotting and to see the amazing views of the lighthouse
– Carew Castle is a must at sunset, then warm up by the fire with a drink at Carew Inn
– The Golden Road has spectacular views and lighting this time year
Thank you to Karen, Gabrielle and Laura from our lovely reception team for sharing their top tips.
