From 23 November: Christmas arrives at Grove
Inspired by the quiet beauty of winter and timeless festive traditions, from 23 November the house will be beautifully dressed for Christmas, with candlelight, delicate festive touches and natural greenery throughout.
Roaring fires set the scene for unhurried afternoons and evenings, with plenty of time to gather around the table, linger over something delicious and enjoy the season together.
From 27 November: Festive Afternoon Tea
Available Wednesday to Sunday between 27 November and 28 December, our Festive Afternoon Tea brings a seasonal twist to a Grove favourite.
Enjoy an irresistible selection of handcrafted treats from our pastry kitchen, created especially for the festive season and served in the warmth of the house.
A lovely excuse to gather with friends and family, and perhaps the first taste of Christmas to come.
12 & 16 December: Christmas Wreath Workshops
Gather with us for a festive afternoon of making, learning and celebrating the season.
Our Christmas Wreath Workshops invite you to create your own impressive centrepiece using natural foliage and woodland materials. Afterwards, settle into the Grove lounges for mulled wine and mince pies as we raise a glass to the start of the festive season.
24 & 26 December: Festive dining at Fernery
Christmas Eve
Begin Christmas with a five-course tasting menu at Fernery, bringing together seasonal flavours, festive flair and a few surprises along the way.

Cosy days between Christmas & New Year
There’s something particularly inviting about Grove between Christmas and New Year, when the days seem to slow down and there’s nowhere you need to be.
Settle into one of our lounges beside the log fires with a hot chocolate, with or without a little added rum. Challenge someone to a board game or curl up in a quiet nook with a book.
With seasonal food, comfortable spaces and our team on hand, these are days made for staying a little longer.
New Year’s Eve: See in the New Year
See in the New Year at Grove with our black-tie New Year’s Eve Celebration Dinner.
As the fires crackle and glasses clink, the evening begins with champagne and canapés before a five-course celebration dinner, created specially by Executive Chef Douglas Balish.
Guests will dine at sociable shared tables, bringing everyone together for an evening of good food and celebration. As midnight approaches, step outside onto the front terrace to welcome the New Year beneath a dazzling fireworks display above Grove.
New Year’s Day lunch at Artisan Rooms
